"Daishikkin Helena," also known as "Elfen Laid," centers around the tragic tale of the elven royal family of Burgundia, who are conquered by Melven soldiers notorious for raping captured women. The story follows Theodora, one of the elven princesses who escaped capture, as she desperately searches for her sister Helena, who has been taken by the enemy commander. To protect her sister, Theodora makes a harrowing bargain, only to arrive too late to save Helena from being abused by monstrous captors in a dark and brutal fantasy setting.
